In an effort to keep our job seekers abreast of the job
market, Bank of America and Walmart both announced they are laying off.
According to CNBC
Bank of America will be cutting almost 8000 jobs. These job cuts will mostly
be in the area of back-office staff and bank tellers.
Walmart
is also cutting back-office accounting jobs throughout 500 stores in an effort to
become more efficient according to USA
Today.
With news of more jobs cuts, be sure to keep your
skill sets current. It is also important to remain alert of which companies will be making cuts in an effort to avoid
getting hired, only to be fired shortly thereafter.
